Foreman

Job Summary:

CCS Group is looking for a proactive and collaborative foreman who can work alongside our superintendents in guiding their onsite crew, while upholding company standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the superintendent in being accountable for job site safety, including preplanning, execution, and documentation.

  • Participate in pre-job meetings, assist in managing trailer inventory between projects, and the management of project equipment & materials.

  • Provide support to the superintendent by adhering to the scheduled timeline of the project and client expectations.

  • Communicate any issues to the superintendent or Operations Director.

  • Ability to provide guidance and leadership to the crew when the superintendent is unavailable.

  • Ability to read and effectively communicate engineered project drawings and other contract documents to the crew.

  • Maintain an understanding of all project scopes that CCS offers to Customers and be able to recognize additional repairs or maintenance while on jobsites.

  • Accountable for the care of company-owned equipment.

  • Regular and dependable attendance is an essential function of this job.

  • Additional duties assigned as needed.

Education, Experience, and Licenses:

  • - High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • - 3+ Months of relevant experience

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver License with DOT endorsement

  • OSHA 10 Hour Certification OSHA (or willing to obtain)

  • 30 Hour Certification (or willing to obtain)

  • MSHA Experienced Miner Certification (or willing to obtain when job requires)

  • Bobcat Skid-Steer Loader Operator Training Couse

  • Aerial Lift Training

  • ASA/ACI wet/vertical certification

  • SAIA Suspended and Framed Scaffold Competent Person

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Physical Demands:

This position requires inspection of sites to detect safety concerns, must be able to complete tasks in a noisy environment, move equipment up to 125lbs., and position oneself

to install equipment, must be able to occasionally remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time during a shift.

Constantly working in all weather conditions

Compensation and Benefits

  • $28-$36/hour, plus per diem

  • $2000 sign-on bonus (1/2 paid at 90 days and ½ at 180)
